The Learning Institute presents: Changing our Response to Childhood Adversity

For the past three years, the research team at The Learning Institute have been working with Devon and Cornwall Police, Devon County Council and school and local authority partners in Sweden, Spain and Italy our Erasmus+ Adverse Childhood Experiences and Inter-professional Working research project. The aims of the project were to develop, evaluate and disseminate best practice for inter-professional work in recognising and supporting children who have been through adverse experiences. Now that we have developed and evaluated our research - creating some outstanding resources along the way - it is time to disseminate!
We hope you will join us for our first online virtual event on the 30th June 2021, where we will be sharing the outputs of our research, holding fantastic workshops and inviting expert speakers to share their own valuable perspectives on dealing with childhood adversity.
Our hope is that you will use this event to either begin or further your knowledge on how interprofessional working can be crucial in tackling ACEs and toxic stress.
