Mission Statement

To provide support at all levels of provision in leadership roles as described in the Local Government White Paper, Strong and Prosperous Communities. By identifying and working with able practitioners, we will encourage the sharing of best practice across regions, enhancing individualised guidance.

Core objectives

• The development of strong networks that actively support effective leadership within children's services

• A greater participation of children and young people in all aspects of leadership

• A strengthened collaboration with the South West Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership

• To research, identify and evaluate best practice solutions within the integrated children's workforce

• To provide a Regional Hub for co-ordinating development and communications
