Foundation Degree in Integrated Children's Services entry Requirements
For this foundation degree, participants are required to have passes in four GCSEs, grades A-C and one A-Level at grade C or above (or the equivalent). Other acceptable qualifications include pre-2002 awards such as GNVQ or BTEC ND; International Baccalaureate (24 points); European Baccalaureate (65%) and Foundation Year/Access Course pass.
For mature students who do not have the formal qualifications listed above, there is a non-standard entry route available. If you feel you will benefit from the programme and have the relevant work experience and attainment of skills needed to demonstrate an ability to study at this level, we encourage you to apply.
All participants are required to work in an education-related environment, either paid or voluntary, prior to enrolling. The Learning Institute may be able to help with voluntary placements.
